HINDSIGHT, the 6th John Logan novel is being prepared for publication in the April-June time frame according to my publisher, Pro-Se Press.
Meanwhile I have just finished the first draft for THE JUDAS MAN, the 7th book in the series, which should be out in 2016.
The Eastlander Chronicles, my fantasy story containing all three short novellas, should also be out in 2016.
As always, I will keep you informed.
In case you didn't notice, I don't post a lot on here. I was asked why. The reason is, I don't have a lot to post about. Unlike a full time author who spends their days writing and going to signings and seminars and hanging out with really cool people (Yes I'm talking about you Kevin J Anderson) I have a pretty boring life. I work, I write, I spend time with my wife and also my children when they come around. Both are out of the house and my oldest is in pharmacy school and we expect to see her sometime in the next few years, just not sure when.
I don't always believe in posting my opinions on everything--you can follow me on Twitter (RickNichols3) if you'd like to get more of that. I try not to get into politics or religion--that is not the purpose of this blog. I try to detail you some things going on in my life but I am also a pretty private person. I think we have too much sharing online at times and there are things about people's lives that I don't want to know.
I was born and raised in West Virginia (Go Mountaineers!) and currently live in Florida where I've lived for over 20 years. In between I did time as a disc jockey, sold real estate, served 5 years in the US Army where I was a Military Policeman (Hey, Teri was an MP..coincidence?....Hmmmmm) and now work as an accountant in county government. I play golf (badly, but still enjoy it), I play guitar (much better than I golf), I like chess, poker, and singing in my church choir. I have close friends who love me for who I am and also who I am not. I have a wonderful wife of almost 30 years who puts up with me and we raised two amazing children. I have, like all of us, have had my share of ups and downs. I have had a mild heart attack at 45, have an addiction to soda that I'm trying desperately to cure, and have never smoked or done drugs. Like I said, pretty boring.
But there is one thing I've always wanted to do: write a novel To hold that book in my hand and see my name on the cover. And I have. Five novels and three on the way. Maybe not James Patterson speed (I think he has help) but the books are mine, good or bad. If I never write another, I will have accomplished what I set out to do. Every book after is gravy and a blessing. I never take any for granted. I thank you for spending your money on my creations and I hope to never make you regret it.
Have a happy Easter!
Love and Peace from sunny Florida...
