Well it's here. The Affairs of Men has been rereleased with a new cover.

Now, I know what you're thinking. Why are you re releasing the original series?

Well, I'll tell ya! The first 4 books in the series (Survivor's Affair, Affairs of Men, The Sheltering Tree, and Into the Magic Night) were put into an anthology by my former publisher. What that meant for you, the reader, is that you couldn't buy just one of the books--you had to buy all four. I don't like to do that, either. What if you end up not liking the first one?

So, when I bought my publishing rights back I discussed it with my friend and fellow author and self publisher (and graphic guru) Kent Holloway about it and he suggested republishing them on my own. After all, they were my books again and I had every right to do with them what I wanted, right? And when he offered to re-do the covers, how could I say no?

So here it is. Yes there is a Kindle version as well. I'm getting the hang of this publishing thing.

Going to try to post more here, gang, (I know, I say that all the time). Thanks for your support. Working on another Logan story by the way as well as churning up ideas for some new stuff. Plus doing my regular job, and being a husband, dad, and friend.

  1. I enjoy the Logan novels. You sound as if you have plenty of time to work on a new Logan book. I am a private investigator, and I used to live on a houseboat that was really owned by a lawyer friend of mine. I paid the dockage. The lawyer died about fifteen months ago. His widow decided to sell the houseboat. I agreed. Things were not quite the same anymore. Still, I miss the houseboat. I have thought about buying another one in a few years. I am not sure that I want to take that on. Oh, and I do miss the attorney. He was one of my best friends, and I don't have many of those. I have lately had three die for various reasons. That leaves a lady friend and one of my cousins. That is it.
